Happy Halloween! We hope everyone has a safe and fun time this evening… Tomorrow, many Jack-o-lanterns will be at the curb, costumes tucked away in a drawer or attic, and candy will be 75% off in most stores nationwide… But don’t despair!
Christmas is just around the corner with even more excitement and good cheer and we want to help. Below are some of the new Christmas card designs we are printing for this season. They are sure to get rave reviews from family and friends this holiday.

Introducing….

Our first design, “Green Scarf”, is a nod to yesteryear with vintage touches and classic charm. This card is perfect for displaying a tryptic or other family details from your VISIO shoot. Inside the card, we place some very subtle design details. This is sure to be a favorite…

“Fine Damask” is for those wanting a design that’s not too modern, but oh, soo cool. This design works well with color images and is topped of with an ever-so-faint damask pattern inside the card as well…

“Grey Flannel Suit” is a design inspired by one of James’ dad’s old suits. He still wears it occasionally, but it is an oldie but a goodie… This design is very sleek and simple with an elegant touch. Inside the card is very simple with a charcoal text.

“Vintage Dress” is for those who love fashion and clean design. The card is inspired by glam wallpaper of the 1920’s. Slight “wear” to the design and side-by-side images give a nice touch to this card design.

October 28, 2009

Forecasted to snow up the mountain, the weather didn’t hinder Lauren and Dan from a fantastic shoot. As Jen said, “the chilly temperature only raised the “snuggle factor” “. (Note: James in no way uses or endorses the word “snuggle”)

We are really looking forward to getting to know you guys even more and are really excited about your big day in just less than a year! Here are a few images from your shoot with more to come very shortly…

candy + herman

October 28, 2009

Congratulations to Candy and Herman on their recent marriage! We had a blast capturing some images of this happy couple on a post-wedding shoot. They spent their honeymoon in the area and we took a trip up the mountain for a great evening together.

Herman and Candy,
We had such a great time with you guys. Even though we just met, it seems like we’ve known you two for years… Thank you for a great evening–we look forward to showing you the rest of the images next week.
By the way, Candy, I don’t appreciate you showing Jen your Christian Louboutin’s. Now I need to save my pennies (or sell our firstborn) for Jen to have a “complete outfit” ;)

A couple of years ago, we had the pleasure of photographing Chris and Melissa’s wedding at the Biltmore Estate. It was great having them back in town for a family shoot. Jackson is a new addition to the family and a blast to photograph! Here are a few shots of this wonderful family…

We had a great time with the Williamson’s in the NC mountains. Kelli was quite creative with the kids’ shirts. They grow up so fast…

This weekend, we were a part of a small, intimate wedding with Chanel and Kevin. It was great to meet their families and get to capture the beautiful ceremony. Afterwards, we spent some time on the Parkway getting some rockin’ shots…
Thank you guys for a fun and memorable time together. We look forward to seeing you again soon. J and J
Here are a few images from the day–many more to come…

jade + will

A couple of weeks ago, we had the opportunity to photograph Jade and Will’s wedding at Brahma Ridge in Asheville. The rain definitely didn’t put a damper on the day as everything turned out terrific. Here are a few shots with this fantastic couple!
Jade and Will, it was so great to see your positive outlook in-spite of the rain. Your day was obviously about more than the weather… It was great to experience this with you guys. J and J
