We had a great time with Katie and Eric this weekend in Greenville, SC. The soiree started on Friday with a wonderful dinner at Devereaux’s. Saturday promised to be even more spectacular as the rain held off for a great day! Lindsay Powers with Social Graces did a fantastic job with the planning and coordinating of the event. The ceremony took place at Allen Temple in Greenville. It surprised everyone when in the middle of the ceremony, a large gospel choir walked down the aisles singing “Down to the River to Pray”… It was incredibly cool! As well, it was great covering the day with Erik and Gretchen of Something Blue Video out of Charlotte.
The evening party was held at the very chic Zen, a new space in downtown Greenville. Modern art, amazing lighting, and a very clean, minimalist atmosphere set the stage for a fun evening of dinner and dancing. Blount Harvey kept the night pumpin’ with one of the coolest mixes of music and voice we’ve heard. From smooth, modern jazz to hip hop, there was music for every taste. A special touch to the evening was when artist and longtime friend, Rick, presented and signed a beautiful work of art, a portrait of Katie.
Katie and Eric,
Thank you for having us join in for your special day. We really enjoyed the weekend and are excited about your images. As well, we had a blast with our first “photo booth”. Have a great trip and we’ll talk you soon.
