ashley + chris

September 5, 2010

We had such a fantastic time with Ashley and Chris and what a sweet day it was…  The weather was perfect and Ashley and Chris chose great wedding vendors for their day.  This made planning from Florida much easier.

The day was planned beautifully with the ladies from Shay Brown Events.  Lissa and company from Flora Event and Floral Design designed the gorgeous arrangements. Scott Thompson did a beautiful job with the makeup. And the stage was set beside Lake Toxaway for an amazing event…

On Saturday, we spent the day with Sara and Armin on Kiawah Island. They had a beautiful beach wedding with a reception at the Sand Castle. Although we hadn’t met before their wedding day; it feel like we’ve been friends with Sara and Armin for a long time… Here are a few images from their day…

We really enjoyed our time with Brandon and Mary last weekend in Greensboro, NC.  Brandon is a photographer in DC and we actually met Mary at a wedding we shot a couple of years ago.  You can check out Brandon’s work at http://bwuphoto.com .  Be sure to take a look at the “live music” and “band promos” in Brandon’s portfolio.  Here are a few images from this beautiful day!

What a great day for a wedding! We really enjoyed getting to know Bryan and Diana and their families. Communication was fun with Diana’s parents…lots of smiles and thumbs up. I know they loved having them here from Russia. It was so neat to see the two cultures come together for a fantastic day. The reception at the Providence Country Club was an elegant event.

Last weekend, we shot the gorgeous wedding of Ally and Adam at Middleton Place. We really enjoyed the event, getting to know the family, and especially our time with Ally and Adam. Meghan and the crew from Duvall Catering & Event Design did a beautiful job decorating and serving the event. It was just perfect!

Thank you guys for such a great weekend…

Brad and his family have been long time friends of ours and we are so excited about his marriage to Alison. It was a perfect day God so beautifully provided. Some friends of theirs, Bert & Lindy, opened their amazing home for everyone to get ready (and actually it is for sale, in case your interested :- ) ) . The ceremony was held at the Church of the Apostles in Raleigh, NC. Just amazing! It was a blessing to be a part of your day. We are so happy for you both!

Last weekend, we were privileged to be a part of Krysten and Andrew’s big day in Greenville, SC. The ceremony at the picturesque Easley Presbyterian was sweet both with the words spoken as well as the spirit of worship. The elegant reception followed at the Acanthus. It was a fantastic day that ended with a wonderful party.

Here are a few images from the event…

On Saturday, we very much enjoyed our time with Sarah and Justin. The wedding was at Camp Highlander in the beautiful NC mountains. The decor was an understated elegance with many of the elements created by Sarah herself who did a fabulous job. The reception was in a barn loft with warm lighting and the fantastic sounds of Mr. Potato Head.

Sarah and Justin,
Thank you for such and awesome time! We’re glad you decided on the outdoor ceremony spot and how cool that the rain held off! We’re looking forward to talking with you soon. Take care and God bless!
